Modern Louvres Meet Rustic Charm in Market Drayton
When building his new home in Market Drayton, our client Dan wanted a solution to tackle solar gain from his South West–facing windows. Both window openings received long hours of sunlight, which risked making indoor spaces uncomfortably warm. However, Dan didn’t want to lose the beautiful countryside views that made the property so special.
After careful consideration, Dan chose the Aluminium 150E Louvre system. Designed with a wider opening and field of view, the 150E allows uninterrupted outlooks when open, while still delivering excellent shading performance when closed.
The louvres were installed externally, fixed to a wooden beam across the window openings, making them a striking architectural feature in their own right. The sleek, modern finish of the aluminium louvres provides a strong contrast against the property’s rustic character, creating a balance that Dan and his family love.
The result is a home that remains cool and comfortable in the summer, yet still offers expansive views of the surrounding landscape. Dan summed up his experience by highlighting how the louvres not only function beautifully but also enhance the overall look of the property.
