Stylish Heat Control for a Modern New-Build Home

In 2021, a stunning new-build home was completed with a clear design vision: to create a modern, energy-efficient space without compromising on style. However, as with many contemporary homes featuring expansive glazing, the homeowners faced challenges with heat gain, glare, and a lack of privacy.

The Solution

To address these issues, our team installed the 150-E aluminium louvre system, chosen for its clean lines, durable finish, and ability to provide both solar control and privacy. This fixed louvre solution was customised to suit the home’s modern aesthetic while enhancing comfort indoors.

A custom-engineered steel subframe was developed and manufactured by a third-party contractor to bring the louvre system forward, allowing it to align beautifully with the sloped architecture of the building. Our system was then expertly fixed to this subframe. Thanks to precise design and planning, the louvres close just 1–2 cm within the reveal, effectively minimising gaps and maintaining the clean silhouette of the property.

Client Testimonial

"The quality and first-time fit of the system was extraordinary. It’s rare to see a louvre solution like this in our area. What’s been achieved here is nothing short of exemplar – both visually and functionally. Huge thanks to the whole team, especially the installers Jason and Joe, who immediately gave me complete confidence with their knowledge and professionalism."
